Oracle · Oracle Applications Framework · CVE-2024-21148
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Oracle Applications Framework versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.13 **Description** The issue is related to improper authorization in the Personalization component of Oracle Applications Framework, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This can allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to read, modify, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require interaction from someone other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data. **Recommendations** For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.13, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent unauthorized access and potential data modification. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
