Freebsd · Freebsd · CVE-2024-25941
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** FreeBSD (affected versions not specified) **Description** The issue is related to incorrect process locking in the jail(2) system call, which can lead to an information leak about processes outside the current jail. An attacker can exploit this to gain unauthorized access to protected information. The vulnerability allows an attacker to get information about TTYs allocated on the host or in other jails, effectively leaking information that may be printed by "pstat -t". **Recommendations** At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.

Freebsd · Freebsd · CVE-2010-0318
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** FreeBSD versions 7.1 through 8.0 **Description** The issue affects the replay functionality for ZFS Intent Log (ZIL) in FreeBSD. When creating files during replay of a setattr transaction after a system crash or power failure, the functionality uses 7777 permissions instead of the original permissions. This might allow local users to read or modify unauthorized files in certain circumstances. **Recommendations** For versions 7.1 through 8.0, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue to ensure that original file permissions are used during ZIL replay.
