Description:
The issue is related to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Jira issue filter export files, which can be exploited by remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript. This can allow attackers to perform cross-site scripting attacks.
Recommendations:
For versions prior to 8.5.9, update to version 8.5.9 or later.
For versions 8.6.0 through 8.12.3, update to version 8.12.3 or later.
For versions 8.13.0 through 8.13.1, update to version 8.13.1 or later.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Jira issue filter export files until a patch is available.
