Oracle · Oracle Help Technologies · CVE-2020-14723
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Oracle Help Technologies versions 11.1.1.9.0 through 12.2.1.3.0 **Description** The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Web UIX component of Oracle Help Technologies, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all Oracle Help Technologies accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Help Technologies accessible data. **Recommendations** For versions 11.1.1.9.0 and 12.2.1.3.0, consider restricting access to the Web UIX component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the Web UIX component for sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
