Description A type confusion issue exists in the V8 JavaScript engine. This flaw allows a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption—a condition where memory allocation in the heap is corrupted—via a specially crafted HTML page. Successful exploitation may lead to arbitrary code execution, denial of service, or information disclosure. There are reports that this issue is being exploited in the wild.
Recommendations Update to version 142.0.7444.175 or later.
