Description The issue is related to an unchecked input for a loop condition, which allows an attacker to cause IO devices using the library to enter an infinite loop by sending a malicious RPC packet.

Recommendations For RT-Labs P-Net versions 1.0.1 and earlier, consider disabling the use of the library until a patch is available to prevent IO devices from entering an infinite loop due to malicious RPC packets. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
