Description
The issue allows a remote attacker to relay email, also known as spam, using encapsulated SMTP addresses. This can occur even when anti-relaying features are enabled.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Exchange version 5.5, consider disabling the encapsulated SMTP address feature as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of email relaying until a more permanent solution is available.
