Description
The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows in the smbvalid/smbval SMB authentication library. This library is used in Apache::AuthenSmb and possibly other modules. Remote attackers can execute arbitrary commands by exploiting these buffer overflows through a long
username, a long password, and other unspecified methods.Recommendations
