VectorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE)

This allows an attacker to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary commands.
Recommendations For Microsoft SQL Server 2000, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE), update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the xp printstatements function until a patch is available.
