Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information, such as WEP keys, cause a denial of service, or gain access to the network by accepting arbitrary community strings with requested MIB modifications in the SNMP service.
Recommendations:
For Atmel 802.11b VNET-B Access Point versions 1.3 and earlier, consider disabling the SNMP service until a patch is available to prevent remote attackers from exploiting this issue. Restrict access to sensitive information and network resources to minimize the risk of unauthorized access.
