5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Netscape Collabra Server versions 3.5.4 and earlier
Description: A memory leak issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service by repeatedly sending approximately 5K of data to the TCP port 5238, leading to memory exhaustion.
Recommendations: For versions 3.5.4 and earlier, consider restricting access to TCP port 5238 as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
