Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Perception LiteServe version 1.25
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to obtain the source code of CGI scripts via URLs that contain MS-DOS conventions, such as upper case letters or 8.3 file names.
Recommendations
For Perception LiteServe version 1.25, consider restricting access to CGI scripts or modifying the server to properly handle MS-DOS conventions in URLs until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using upper case letters or 8.3 file names in URLs for CGI scripts. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
