CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM WebSphere versions 3.02 and 3.5 FP2
Description A cross-site scripting issue allows remote attackers to execute Javascript by inserting it into a request for a .JSP file or a request to the "webapp/examples/" directory, which inserts the Javascript into an error page.
Recommendations For IBM WebSphere version 3.02, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue. For IBM WebSphere version 3.5 FP2, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to .JSP files and the "webapp/examples/" directory to minimize the risk of exploitation.
