Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OpenBSD (affected versions not specified)
Description
A race condition exists in the OpenBSD VFS, allowing local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a kernel panic. This can be achieved by either creating a pipe in one thread and having another thread set one of the file descriptors to NULL via a close, or by calling dup2 on a file descriptor in one process and then setting the descriptor to NULL via a close in another process created via rfork.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
