CVE-2001-1468
CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
phpSecurePages versions 0.24 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by modifying the
cfgProgDir parameter to reference a URL on a remote web server that contains the code. This can be achieved through the checklogin.php file.Recommendations
For phpSecurePages versions 0.24 and earlier, consider restricting access to the checklogin.php file and avoid using the
cfgProgDir parameter to reference external URLs until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the cfgProgDir parameter to only reference local directories to minimize the risk of exploitation.Fix
