Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Cyberstop Web Server for Windows version 0.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, potentially leading to a crash, and may also enable the execution of arbitrary code. This can be achieved by sending a long HTTP GET request, which may trigger a buffer overflow.
Recommendations
For Cyberstop Web Server for Windows version 0.1, consider restricting access to the web server until a fix is available to prevent potential exploitation. As a temporary workaround, limit the length of HTTP GET requests to prevent buffer overflows. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
