CVE-2002-0483
CVSS v2.0
5.0
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
PHP-Nuke versions 5.4 and earlier
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to determine the physical pathname of the web server. This is achieved by setting the
file parameter to index.php in the index.php file, which triggers an error message that leaks the pathname.Recommendations
For PHP-Nuke versions 5.4 and earlier, consider restricting access to the
index.php file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the file parameter in the index.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
