| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
3Cdaemon version 2.0
Description
A buffer overflow issue in the 3Cdaemon 2.0 FTP server allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, potentially leading to a crash, and possibly execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved by sending long commands, such as a long login command.
Recommendations
For version 2.0, consider restricting access to the FTP server until a fix is available, and avoid using long commands to prevent potential exploitation.
