The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows in various commands. These buffer overflows may allow local users to execute arbitrary code via long command line arguments to commands such as
sample, ex, du, find, lex, mkdir, rm, serserv, tcpserv, termdef, time, unzip, use, wcc, wcc386, wd, wdisasm, which, wlib, wlink, wpp, wpp386, wprof, write, or wstrip.Recommendations
