7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions vBulletin versions prior to 2.2.0
Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. This is achieved by injecting shell metacharacters into the command parameter in the "calendar.php" file.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.2.0, update to version 2.2.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "calendar.php" file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
