Description
The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long HTTP GET request with a large number of subdirectories. This is due to a buffer overflow in the web server.
Recommendations
For GoAhead WebServer version 2.1, consider restricting the length of HTTP GET requests or the number of subdirectories allowed in a request to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
