CVE-2002-1987

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Resin version 2.1.2
Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using a ".." (backslash dot dot) in the view source.jsp file.
Recommendations For Resin version 2.1.2, consider restricting access to the view source.jsp file until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the backslash dot dot sequence in file paths to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
