CVE-2002-2233

CVSS v2.0

8.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Enceladus Server Suite version 3.9
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to list arbitrary directories and possibly cause a denial of service via "@" (at) characters in a CD (CWD) command. Examples of such commands include "@/....", "@@@/..c:", or "@/..@/..".
Recommendations: For Enceladus Server Suite version 3.9, consider restricting or validating input for the CD command to prevent directory traversal attacks until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the CD command or limit the ability to execute it with arbitrary input. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
