Description:
The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in the
parse field function, located in cgi lib.c, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long argument.Recommendations:
For LIBCGI versions 1.0.2 and 1.0.3, consider updating to a version that fixes this issue, as the current versions are affected by the stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
