CVSS v2.0

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SURECOM broadband router EP-4501
Description The issue concerns the use of default SNMP community strings, allowing remote attackers to access and modify router configuration information. The default strings are "public" for read access and "secret" for read/write access.
Recommendations For SURECOM broadband router EP-4501, change the default SNMP community strings to custom, secure values to prevent unauthorized access. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SNMP service until the default strings can be changed.
