| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
BEA Tuxedo versions 8.1 and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in the system hanging, by providing pathname arguments that contain MS-DOS device names such as CON and AUX.
Recommendations:
For BEA Tuxedo versions 8.1 and earlier, consider restricting or validating pathname arguments to prevent the inclusion of MS-DOS device names as a temporary workaround until a patch is available.
