Description:
A buffer overflow issue exists in the debug functionality of the fp30reg.dll component. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a crafted chunked encoded request.
Recommendations:
For Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) 2000, update or apply a patch to fix the buffer overflow issue in the fp30reg.dll component.
For Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions (FPSE) 2002, update or apply a patch to fix the buffer overflow issue in the fp30reg.dll component.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the debug functionality in the fp30reg.dll component until a patch is available.
