Description
The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows in the FTP service, which can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) by sending long commands, including
dir, ls, delete, mkdir, DELE, RMD, or MKD commands.Recommendations
For Plug and Play Web Server version 1.0002c, consider disabling the FTP service until a patch is available to prevent potential denial of service attacks. Restrict access to the FTP service to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using long commands in the FTP service until the issue is resolved.
