| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
NiteServer version 1.83
Description
A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to list arbitrary directories by using a ".." (backslash dot dot) in the CD (CWD) command.
Recommendations
For version 1.83, consider restricting access to the CD command until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the ".." sequence in the CD command to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
Fix
