Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using a (triple dot) in the filename parameter.
Recommendations For Apple Darwin Streaming Server version 4.1.2, avoid using the filename parameter with (triple dot) until a fix is available. For Apple Quicktime Streaming Server version 4.1.1, restrict access to the parse xml.cgi module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
