Description
The issue is related to improper input sanitization, which allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. Multiple vulnerabilities in the jitterbug package of the Debian GNU/Linux operating system can lead to breaches of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information, and these vulnerabilities can be exploited remotely.
Recommendations
For jitterbug version 1.6.2, update to a version that properly sanitizes inputs to prevent arbitrary command execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
