Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute commands via shell metacharacters in the "To:" field. This is due to a problem in the parseAddress code.
Recommendations For SquirrelMail version 1.4.0, update to a version that fixes the parseAddress code issue. For GPG Plugin version 1.1, update to a version that fixes the parseAddress code issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of shell metacharacters in the To field until a patch is available.
