| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Crob FTP Server version 3.5.1
Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash. This can be achieved by sending a dir command with a large number of "." characters followed by a "/*" string.
Recommendations
For Crob FTP Server version 3.5.1, consider restricting access to the dir command or limiting the input length to prevent the denial of service. As a temporary workaround, restrict the use of the dir command with unusual patterns until a patch is available.
