Description A remote code execution issue exists due to an unchecked buffer in the Graphics Rendering Engine processes when handling Windows Metafile (WMF) or Enhanced Metafile (EMF) image formats. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.

Recommendations For Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
