Description:
The issue is related to multiple buffer overflows in the ImageMagick graphics library, which can be triggered by remote attackers using malformed files, including AVI, BMP, or DIB files. This can cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, and potentially allow the execution of arbitrary code.
Recommendations:
For ImageMagick versions 5.x before 5.4.4, update to version 5.4.4 or later to resolve the issue.
For ImageMagick versions 6.x before 6.0.6.2, update to version 6.0.6.2 or later to resolve the issue.
