CVE-2004-1419
CVSS v2.0
6.8
Medium
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
ZeroBoard versions 4.1pl4 and earlier
Description:
A remote file inclusion issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by modifying specific parameters. The issue can be exploited by altering the
zb path parameter in outlogin.php or the dir parameter in write.php to reference a URL on a remote web server that contains the malicious code.Recommendations:
For ZeroBoard versions 4.1pl4 and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
outlogin.php and write.php files until a patch is available. Avoid using the zb path parameter in outlogin.php and the dir parameter in write.php to reference external URLs. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
