CVSS v2.0
7.5
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) versions 3.2(3) and earlier
Description:
The issue allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by connecting to a separate unauthenticated TCP connection on a random port spawned by the Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) when a user authenticates to the ACS GUI from the same IP address.
Recommendations:
For Cisco Secure Access Control Server (ACS) versions 3.2(3) and earlier, consider restricting access to the ACS GUI to minimize the risk of exploitation until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, monitor and control incoming connections to random ports to prevent unauthorized access.
