CVE-2004-1543

CVSS v2.0

5.0

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions KorWeblog versions 1.6.2-cvs and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to list arbitrary directories via a .. (dot dot) in the path parameter of the viewimg.php file. This enables attackers to potentially access sensitive information by traversing the directory structure.
Recommendations For KorWeblog versions 1.6.2-cvs and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the viewimg.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the path parameter in the viewimg.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
