Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash. This occurs when invalid characters are sent in a message, triggering several alert dialogs to be displayed, which ultimately leads to the application crashing.
Recommendations For PopMessenger versions 1.60 and earlier, update to a version released after 20 Sep 2004 to resolve the issue.
