CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PhotoPost PHP Pro versions 4.6.x and earlier
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via various parameters to showmembers.php, including ppuser, password, stype, perpage, sort, page, si, or cat, as well as fields such as photo name, photo description, album name, or album description.
Recommendations For PhotoPost PHP Pro versions 4.6.x and earlier, consider restricting access to the showmembers.php endpoint until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the vulnerable parameters ppuser, password, stype, perpage, sort, page, si, or cat in the showmembers.php endpoint. Additionally, restrict the input for photo name, photo description, album name, and album description fields to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
