Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Crackalaka version 1.0.8
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by sending large malformed strings to the
hash strcmp function in hasch.c.Recommendations
For Crackalaka version 1.0.8, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting input to the
hash strcmp function to prevent large malformed strings from being processed until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
