| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Tiny Server version 1.1
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by sending a GET request with a long filename. This could be due to a buffer overflow.
Recommendations
For Tiny Server version 1.1, consider restricting access to prevent remote attackers from sending malicious GET requests until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limiting the length of filenames accepted by the server may help mitigate the risk of exploitation.
