Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Plesk versions 7.0 through 7.1 Reloaded
Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the
login name parameter in the login up.php3 file. This could potentially lead to unauthorized actions on the affected system.Recommendations
For Plesk versions 7.0 through 7.1 Reloaded, consider restricting access to the login up.php3 file until a fix is available, and avoid using the
login name parameter in sensitive operations. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
