Description A buffer overflow issue exists in the Decrypt::makeFileKey2 function, located in Decrypt.cc, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved by providing a PDF file with a large /Encrypt /Length keyLength value.

Recommendations For xpdf versions 3.00 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
