The issue allows local users to gain privileges by accessing sensitive information stored in plaintext. This information includes passwords, which are stored in the Exeem registry key. Specifically, the
proxy user and proxy password values can be exploited.Recommendations
For eXeem version 0.21, consider restricting access to the Exeem registry key to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the
