Description
The issue allows local users to bypass group policies that restrict access to hidden drives. This can be achieved by using the browse feature in Office 10 applications, such as Word or Excel, or by using a flash drive.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2, consider restricting access to Office 10 applications or disabling the browse feature as a temporary workaround.
For Microsoft Windows 2000 Server SP4, consider restricting access to Office 10 applications or disabling the browse feature as a temporary workaround.
