CVE-2005-0670

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:N/I:P/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions phpCOIN versions 1.2.0 through 1.2.1b
Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, potentially leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This can be achieved via several parameters, including new and w in "mod.php", and e and o in "login.php", and possibly other scripts.
Recommendations For phpCOIN versions 1.2.0 through 1.2.1b, consider restricting access to the vulnerable parameters new, w, e, and o in the affected scripts until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using these parameters in the "mod.php" and "login.php" scripts. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
