CVE-2005-1110

CVSS v2.0

7.5

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SUMUS version 0.2.2
Description The issue is a stack-based buffer overflow in the RespondeHTTPPendiente function within the HTTP server. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending a large packet to TCP port 81.
Recommendations For SUMUS version 0.2.2, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the RespondeHTTPPendiente function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the HTTP server on TCP port 81 to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
