Description The issue allows content protected by Windows Media Digital Rights Management (WMDRM) to redirect the user to a web site to obtain a license, even when the setting to automatically acquire licenses for protected content is not enabled.

Recommendations For Windows Media Player versions 9 and 10, consider disabling the automatic license acquisition feature to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
