Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash, by utilizing an invalid Debug Message pointer in the DbgMsg.sys driver.
Recommendations For Compuware SoftICE DriverStudio versions 3.1 through 3.2, consider disabling the DbgMsg.sys driver as a temporary workaround to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
